Owned by Prince Edwin's Lodge No. 125, the Windmill Street Centre is home to local Masonic Lodges and Orders, and a practical venue for meetings, lunches, celebrations and private hire.

The Building
Built by the Lodge, still serving Hythe
Prince Edwin's Lodge moved around Hythe many times before the long-held aspiration to build its own home was realised. Work began in 1962, supported by members who gave time, skill and financial help to complete the project.
The Centre was completed by Prince Edwin's Lodge No. 125 and its inaugural meeting was held in February 1963. It remains owned by the Lodge and administered by its Trustees.

1962
Work began and the purpose-built Masonic Centre was completed by Prince Edwin's Lodge.
1963
The inaugural meeting at the Masonic Hall, Windmill Street, Hythe, was held in February.

An extension enlarged both floors to support dining, social functions and hire use.
